I started my career at 19 years old and graduated from a world class TVA advanced welding school and started out as a certified X-Ray steamfitter welder at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant in 1977. In my 42 year journey I learned the Pipefitting trade including instrumentation. I learned the Boilermaker and Millwright trades including some Electrical work and Iron Working skills along the way. I helped develop a mechanical training school and I taught welding classes to Journeyman mechanics. I helped develop a self managing maintenance team concept that proved to be very successful saving the company thousands of dollars!
